Jamilyn is a Championship dancer with SIDA. She started dancing at the age of 4 with ballet, and then jazz, tap, lyrical, and musical theatre. After watching Riverdance the movie and seeing Irish Dance shows she had to try Irish dancing. It did not take long to realize this was her passion and all her focus went into Irish dance by the age of 11.
Outside of the dancing world, Jamilyn has her Early Childhood Education and is the director of a child care centre. Her joy of working with children mixed with her love of dance makes instructing Irish dance an absolute pleasure. Jamilyn started teaching under the supervision of Michelle Bond, TCRG in 2011.
